
On July 22, 2025, the Vice Governor of South Kalimantan, H. Hasnuryadi Sulaiman, officially inaugurated the Kalsel Park tourism area located within Tahura Sultan Adam, Mandiangin. This project is the result of a strategic collaboration between the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan and Shafwah Group, as part of a shared commitment to developing a nature-based tourism destination rooted in conservation. Kalsel Park is designed to harmoniously blend natural beauty with environmental education, offering visitor-friendly facilities such as glamping area and restaurant, while preserving the surrounding ecosystem.
In his remarks, Vice Governor Hasnuryadi expressed hope that Kalsel Park would become a leading conservation tourism destination in South Kalimantan. He commended the collaborative efforts between the government and the private sector, particularly Shafwah Group, in creating a destination that integrates sustainable ecosystem management with tangible economic benefits for local communities.
Through its subsidiary, PT Shafwah Global Utama, Shafwah Group is fully committed to maintaining a balance between ecological preservation and visitor comfort, with a vision to position Kalsel Park as a model for green tourism development in Indonesia.
